I love photography because of the feeling I have when I capture a moment in time. Time is like a flowing river, the same water will never pass by again. But, we can reach out and take a sample at a given moment.

The artist photographer's job is to capture a moment in that passing river of time. The artist then uses their skill to make to bring out the true inner beauty of that moment. Then the viewer can say "look at this beautiful portrait, it makes me feel good to see these people I truly love recorded in this moment in time."


Photography is both an art and a craft. I am striving to educate myself both technically and creatively to be the best photographer possible. I'm doing this by attending seminars and schools, purchasing training materials as well as networking with photographers who are better than me.
